Mr. Sweet works closely with Mr. Beck in assisting with the varied legal needs of the office’s clients. Mr. Sweet’s experience includes law related to non-profit organizations, small businesses, land use, real estate, sheriff’s tax sales, debtor/creditor, landlord/tenant, estate planning, domestic relations, traffic, ordinance violations, and criminal matters.
Mr. Sweet graduated from Saint Louis University School of Law in 2013, where he was active in the school’s Community & Economic Development clinical law program. His Bachelor of Arts degree is also from Saint Louis University. Mr. Sweet was admitted to the Missouri Bar in 2013. Prior to attending law school, he managed historic movie theaters and served as a legal assistant to Clayton family law practitioners.
A longtime City resident, Mr. Sweet participates in volunteer efforts designed to strengthen St. Louis’s historic, diverse neighborhoods. A believer in progressive improvement to urban quality of life, he is also a serial residential rehabber.
